About Learning Unlearning

My name is Joe. I don’t understand politics very well, but I’m learning.

Like many other Americans, politics in 2025 have become a preeminent source of worry in my life. Our government is expanding its overreach and attempting to wrestle civil liberties back from the American people to whom they belong—so now seems as good a time as any to develop some informed perspective about the American experiment.

I’m on a journey to understand why things are the way they are, and I’m writing this blog to share what I learn (and unlearn) along the way, one piece of media at a time.

Topics will vary widely, but there’s a unifying theme. I believe this country should elevate working class people over profit—I’d like to learn how to help make that happen. Join me!
